Directed by Zhuangzhuang Tian, 1986. About a Tibetan nomad from either Amdo or Kham in the 1920s, who is expelled from his group for being a horse thief. In Mandarin, with English subtitles, although it looks like it was shot in Tibetan and dubbed into Mandarin.

Directed by Martin Scorsese, 1997. About the early life of HH Dalai Lama.
